SERVICE TO THE LIFT INDUSTRY

Wickham Engineering Hose & Hydraulics Limited supply contract services to the lift industry, specialising in Sassi gear units.

We replace seals, bearings and generally overhaul gear units as well as carry out Lift Industry (LG) Inspections on all types of gear units.

Wickham Engineering Hose & Hydraulics Limited manufacture gear rafts, brackets and machine pulley shafts to your specification.

We also undertake gas cutting and welding on site with method statements and risk assessments in line with Health & Safety Legislation.

LINE BORING

We offer a comprehensive line boring service with the capability of machining bores from 35mm diameter to 400mm diameter with a maximum 4 mtr span.

Our state of the art equipment allows a ‘line of sight’ to be taken through the bar when checking the alignment of bores. This negates the need to remove the equipment. Our line boring equipment can be applied to any site environment.

System downtime can be detrimental, unplanned downtime on equipment/operating equipment can create severe issues, often resulting in costly repairs that drastically increase overall operating expenses, even standard maintenance to equipment can produce unwanted downtime.
